Merchant of Record Disclosure: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles all customer service inquiries and returns regarding payments. Your purchase is subject to Paddle’s Invoiced Consumer Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the StealthScribe AI Chrome Extension and website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Legal Recording & Consent (User Responsibility)

StealthScribe AI provides functionality to capture audio from your active browser tab. You are solely responsible for your use of this recording feature.

  • You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations regarding the recording of communications.
  • In many jurisdictions, it is illegal to record a conversation without the explicit consent of all parties involved (Two-Party Consent laws).
  • StealthScribe AI acts strictly as a passive tool. We do not inject visual "bots" into meetings to announce recordings. It is your obligation to inform participants and obtain necessary permissions before hitting record.

3. Description of Service

StealthScribe AI is an AI-powered meeting assistant that transcribes browser-based audio and generates summaries using third-party artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

StealthScribe AI offers both a Free Tier and paid subscription plans (Starter/Pro). All payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.

  • Refund Policy: In accordance with Paddle's consumer terms, you have the right to a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. This right applies provided the service has not been substantially utilized (defined as processing less than 10 minutes of audio).
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or via the Paddle customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • Usage Limits: We reserve the right to adjust feature limits or the tiers included in the service to maintain operational integrity.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, extension code, and design, is owned by StealthScribe AI and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws. Reverse engineering is strictly prohibited.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" basis. StealthScribe AI makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of AI-generated content. AI models can occasionally produce inaccurate text; you are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all notes.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall StealthScribe AI be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.
